Provided in the 2009-10 MLTI image are several presets that allow you to determine how your MacBook uses its energy. For example, you don’t want your display to go to sleep while you’re showing a DVD in class, nor do you want to run out of battery power in the middle of a workshop where there are no power outlets in reach.
- To access the MLTI Energy Saver settings, go to System Preferences and under the Other section click on 1to1Prefs.
- Click on the Energy Saver tab.
- Click on the drop-down menu to choose from five different settings. Note how the number of minutes changes based on the setting chosen and thea different between “Battery” and “Power Adapter” as the power source.
