Romeo and Juliet: An Interactive Folio and Study Guide (Gr. 6-12)

This interactive study guide give students access to Shakespeare’s play and a wealth of interactive media to provide a unique way to immerse oneself in the literature. From the “script” of the play displayed in the left panel of the study guide, students can click on links to “unlock multiple modes of interpreting the text” that includes audio, video and image components. Check out their Resources section for plot descriptors, interviews with Shakespearean experts and other research information. Note: Flash is required to use the interactive study guide.


  • Study guides for works of Shakespeare have been around for a long time and the media integrated into this guide will certainly appeal to 21st century learners. Ask students to evaluate the material and its ability to help them comprehend the material. How could it be made better?
