First Class email users will remember fondly the option to undo a sent email long after the send command had been given. Google has an Undo option built-in to Gmail as well…it just last only a few seconds. Frankly, I’m not always fast enough to use it.
Enter the Undo Send lab, created by Yuzo F. This lab gives you the ability to increase the amount of time the Undo…this option remains available at the top of the Gmail interface. To modify, go to the General tab in your Gmail Settings and look for the “Undo Send” heading. Use the drop-down menu to change the duration of the Undo option (you can choose between 5, 10, 20, and 30 seconds). Make sure the Enable Undo Send option is checked off too.
To enable this gadget on your account, go to the Labs tab in Gmail Settings and search for “undo.”
