HowTo – Embed a Google Drive Folder

This tutorial will show how to embed a Google Drive folder onto a webpage.

What you will need:

  1. A website service that gives you a button, tool, and/or ability to embed HTML code.
  2. The HTML code for embedding a Google Drive folder (see below).
  3. A folder in Google Drive with its Sharing permissions appropriately set for your intended audience.

Embed codes for ‘List’ and ‘Grid’ views are available for copying here.

My thanks to the programmers at stackoverflow.com for asking this question, coming up with an answer, and sharing the embed code and tip for how to locate a GDrive ‘FOLDER-ID.’
